Woohoo, we got a prototype funding for our game "Loxia - Herbs and Potions" 🎉
We worked on the concept in secret, but we are excited to share more about it soon 🌱⚗️
At last, I'm ready to leave this site after having created my account already last year.. Just hope some more of you fellow people and my other favourite accounts will also hop over :)

So many people have asked me for years "what is time?"
I'm happy to have found a little, er, time to write a piece "On the Nature of Time"

We're making a game where you play a courier rider in 13th century Mongolia
No combat, just you, the horse(s) you've tamed, bred and trained and the vast wilderness.
Would you play this?
I didn't expect to get emotional today.. Seven years ago there was a goodbye and now a return. And what a return.. all the inredients that make up LP are there, with such a strong new direction #LinkinPark https://t.co/p2Jf9yg987
🏕️ The Legend of Khiimori 🏕️
In this screenshot you can see a small fishing village by the river and get a feeling for the kind of landscape you can happen upon in Khiimori.
Grandness and scale is part of what makes a good vista: the sensation of reaching a new part of the map and seeing the world laid out before you, with the knowledge that all you see is ripe to explore and can actually be reached.
@josefsleeps@Skylonxe Also interesting to see that this is going in a very similar direction like https://t.co/1q1s956D5U, where they also added a rendering path ignoring AActor and USceneComponent. Seems we have a trend ^^
@QuodSoler How to build a proper interaction system with GAS:
- (How) would you forward enhanced input trigger events to abilities?
- Hands-on usage of GAS targeting, versus or maybe together with a modular target query system as in https://t.co/dW9yE6YvfQ
Hello, Couriers! We published our first Developer Diary for 🏕️Windstorm: The Legend of Khiimori!
We discussed the inspiration behind The Legend of Khiimori and its Mongolian setting.
We also included a peek behind the curtains with original concept art! 👀
Check it out! ⬇️
Large projects also offer smaller studios like @NightinGames from Bayreuth a great opportunity. Parts of the NightinGames team are supporting @AesirInteractiv developing the new Windstorm game with production, game design, engineering and art.

I’m fascinated by this open-world delivery game that sounds like Death Stranding on a horse in 13th-century Mongolia, with “unparalleled equine realism”
