@leeasht36354044@ClarkeMicah@purpleducks101 Total nonsense. Poroshenko and Zelensky - two pro West leaders won elections. If Ukraine was divided, the Russian advance would have taken Kharkiv and Odessa. I suggest you read Ukraine post USSR history and how the likes of Leonid Kuchma got elected to see Russian involvment
@leeasht36354044@ClarkeMicah@purpleducks101 Garbage. So do tell me how did Putin earn his billions ?Perhaps Ukrainians don't want to live in a one party state under said dictator in Moscow ? Perhaps they see the wealth in former Soviet republics such as Estonia and the lifestyle that average citizens enjoy ?
@ShippersUnbound@b_judah You complain about a possible new system as it looks as if it might be "rigging it" against one party. Yet your support of the current system appears to be on the basis that it excludes one other party that you find unpalatable ?
@leeasht36354044@ClarkeMicah@purpleducks101 Yes Russian oligarchs. And whilst corruption does exist in the EU it is nothing - absolutely nothing - compared to Russia. Watch Leviathan - a film made in Russia by Russians. As for Yanukovych, see the pictures of his summer palace - corruption that was off the scale
@leeasht36354044@ClarkeMicah@purpleducks101 As opposed to a deal that opened up the country to even more plundering by Oligarch's ? Yanukovych promised his people a deal with the EU. He then offered them a customs union with the most corrupt country in Europe. No wonder Ukrainian rose up and threw him out.
@BrianMcDonaldIE Go to the Museum of Contemporary History in Moscow. It describes the Molotov-von Ribbentrop pact as an "agreement to respect each others borders" - their words. News of course to the likes of Poland and the Baltic countries
@OdohertyI64991@maxbiaggi30@JohnOBrennan2 Yet 25% of Americans think that Sandy Hook massacre was faked due to folk like Alex Jones. I'm all ears as to how you combat the likes of him without regulation.
@JimSpenceDundee But the policy doesn't just apply to non-contributors. It would apply to many non UK nationals who will have paid tax/NI and contributed to the UK tax fund for decades. You may well think that is fair Jim. There will be others who will disagree.
@MattLindsayHT The last sentence is total nonsense. Hogh missed 4 chances. Tierney had two efforts saved, MacGregor hit a post and Nygren of course scored. Sinisalo had one save to make the whole game. Dundee did well given their resources but that doesn't excuse complete exaggeration.
@dthroat@RMcGreevy1301 Kevin Marsh not Rod Liddle was the editor the time. It was Liddle who hired Andrew Gilligan though. Gilligan couldn't back up his claim that they knew that the 45 min claim was rubbish. Many suspect he was right. And plenty of evidence to shiow that the dossier was "sexed up".
@toryboypierce@BBCNews Andrew - he left the BBC after his weekly Guardian column criticised Countryside Alliance protestors, saying that they reminded him why he voted Labour. That hardly chimes with your description of him at the BBC ?
@Barcabhoy1 I think the two signings are excellent. Maybe having somebody who has a clue heading up recruitment has something to do with it. But judge the window on 1st September - not just now.
@MhairiHunter The only cyclist I have ever seen on Corkerhill Rd is myself. I have never seen one cyclist on Bisland Drive despite going there regularly. Many of the cycle lanes that have been built lie there unused and are decaying.
