@DuchessSexpert The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived. It makes me want to go back 20 years, break no contact, and scream it at my ex. As you can see, it has been somewhat cathartic for me.
@JBsTwoCents While I am not exactly in your situation, I started feeling erased the day I brought my first child home and my parents and in-laws no longer greeted me but rather my child when they walked in the door…
@thattradgal@mrsmcchancey Same story here; Pitocin (induction drugs) make contractions even worse somehow, so don’t be shy about asking for an epidural! Positive vibes to you!!
@DuchessSexpert That’s very kind of you! I feel better knowing it CAN and DOES get better because in the thick of it…it sure doesn’t feel that way. Thank you for sharing your experience.
@DuchessSexpert I teared up reading this. I have a 4th grade child with 4 mental health diagnoses. She was bullied/shamed by her 3rd grade teacher. Teacher this year is turning it around; I’m glad to hear from someone who came out successfully on the other side. ❤️
@jdpereira My mom came to help, and she would fixate on the weirdest, unhelpful stuff. We’d have a sink full of dirty dishes and she’d be over washing our window blinds. She’d also often leave these projects half done because she’d get tired, so I’d come along behind her and finish them!
@mychal3ts I hope you know how loved you are. We adore you in this house. My momma was a librarian, and I’m raising a 10 year old who has struggled mightily with her mental health for YEARS. The library has been one of her safe places because of wonderful people like you. Keep shining!
@heyalexfriedman I want to tell this woman that I was her in 2005. In my case he couldn’t quite keep up the lie until the wedding (lucky me!) but he made up jobs, faked pay stubs, showed me graded tests from his college classes (that he wasn’t in). I may have to get on TikTok for solidarity!
