@BasedMikeLee Thune is half right, but we need to elect the RIGHT Republicans, not just more. It won't pass while Thune is Majority Leader because he doesn't want it to pass. He isnt willing to lean on his own caucus to get this done.
@BasedMikeLee The GOP senators, especially younger ones, need to make it known that they will never support any Federal dollars spent on any building, bridge, structure, park, or other infrastructure that bears the name McConnell.
@IAPonomarenko Congress would have to change the laws. Which isn't isn't likely. Unless you see a bunch of democrats crossing the aisle and every republican supporting.
@tiger_then@BallKnowerUniv@heitner That's not at all what I said. The NCAA screwed up COVID big time and they still are. In my opinion they have a real problem seeing how their decisions are going to impact years beyond. Both athletics and legal. Best of luck to your student athlete!
@BallKnowerUniv@heitner And I also agree with @heitner, they should expect legal action. Thats the consequence of having rules that are in perpetual motion that disproportionately impact some and benifit others.
@BallKnowerUniv@heitner And I actually agree with you I dont want to screw anybody, but what you are describing is precisely what happened to those kids when they were in HS. My statement was NCAA screwed those classes. That is 100% true. They need to stop changing the rules every couple years.
@BasedMikeLee It would seem to me that the leader of the Senate is not Mr. Thune but rather Ms. Collins or Ms. Murkowski. Shouldn't we be asking one of them what business should be considered?
@nextlevelbb No. It is what it is, but under todays structure Mike Piazza, Kieth Hernandez, Ryne Sandberg, JD Martinez, Jeff Kent and Don Mattingly are all likely undrafted and maybe never make it. Scouts are never as good as they think they are.
