@MLStreetTalk Really great episode, especially satisfying to hear his thoughts on creativity (which I 100% agree with, and felt very vindicated hearing someone else say hahah)
@JustinTrudeau hey Justin, I'm one of your constituents. Please stop the genocide of the wet'suwet'en people. I'm in the Papineau riding and I'm pretty sure we are all against genocide. RCMP should not be on the side of TC link, they should be on the side of the law/wet'suwet'en
@airtransat maybe next time I fly with you I'll just tell you to call my robotic phone service to get paid, and then be late, and only give you partial payment, and then give you a voucher for the next time I you do business w me. I'm sure you'll want to.
Hey @airtransat thanks for making me miss work, can't wait to spend hours on the damn phone with customer service to get paid back for that. Oh and that's so nice of you that instead of taxi vouchers you said you'd pay us back.
Hey @airtransat , remember that time you made us stay in the airport to wait for your staff to NOT even make an announcement after moving our flight to 7am, so we could go home and be afraid to risk sleeping and missing our shitty new flight? That was so nice.
Hey @airtransat that was really nice of you to give me a 20$ meal voucher, and then take it back and give me 15$ instead cause "it's for breakfast", wtf am I gonna eat in the airport at 5:30am for 15$?
2/2 all stolen. Ryōkan sat down and gazed out the window. Reflecting on what he had, what he had not and what could be taken away from him, he composed this haiku:
The thief left it behind:
the moon
at my window
One evening Ryōkan returned back his simple little hut at the base of the mountain after a walk through the woods to find that his home had been forcibly broken into and his only possessions stolen. His calligraphy pen, begging bowl, and one blanket he used to sleep with were 1/2
@AGoldmund they also misinform employees so they lie to you on the phone and then when you get to the higher up closer they say "oh no that's not how this works", cognitive dissonance helps close. It's 2019, don't do biz on the phone unless you dialed the number, a even then2/2
@AGoldmund the type of biz you describe at the beginning of robocall is definitely a type of semi-legal scam. I worked at 1 and usually they say they're "looking for the best deal" but always present you with the same company as the solution. I had flashbacks listening. 1/2
@J_Goldstein fuck man, that last episode of heavyweight "Rachael" is insane. The way you mash opposite feelings together is virtuosic. My mouth was hanging open the whole time.
