@Noabotty1 Only Israelis can help Israel and it's best opportunity will come no later than late October 2026.
PS - the Trump Administration is even worse and he's in power until January 20, 2029.
@netanyahu I'm sorry but whether you like Haaretz or don't, freedom of expression doesn't mean that a newspaper has to agree with you.
Please STFU and resign; not necessarily in that order. You are doing immense damage to Israel. How's that for freedom of expression?
Israelis were jaded about a 2-state solution with good reason long before Oct 7.
They elected dovish Ehud Barak over Netanyahu in a LANDSLIDE in 1999 on his promise of “rapid progress toward peace.”
Barak put it all on the line at Camp David 2000 - a Palestinian state in the “West Bank,” Gaza, and with East Jerusalem as its capital.
But Arafat walked away - without even making a counteroffer.
And the evidence is now overwhelming that Arafat already planned the bloody Second Intifada as his real response to the offer of a final peace agreement with Israel.
@DDuggan21 3 plausible reasons to keep DeVito on the roster:
1) A contender suffers a QB injury & offers a quality pick for Wilson/Winston; or
2) Wilson won't be on the team next year. NYG enters camp with 3 QBs (Dart, Winston, DeVito) set;
3) Thinking 2 seasons ahead - DeVito as QB2.
@Noabotty1 I understand completely. On occasion I've explained to Americans that unlike the USA where one votes for/against a party/candidate mainly because ideology, Israelis often vote strategically even if it's not the best ideological match. Thanks for your time. Keep being you.
@Noabotty1 Thanks Noa. So, here's my follow-up. When the next election occurs in 10/26 or sooner, will you vote for a different party than the one you would have supported had there been no Oct 7? I completely understand if you don't want to answer, or want to answer without being specific.
@HowieRose To truly give it that vintage feel, you need to do a 2 hour episode of Mets Extra and field mock trade calls from Mets fans offering Kevin Elster and David West to the Orioles for Cal Ripken, Jr.
Elected Democrats who fail to take on left wing antisemitism because they are afraid of alienating far left voters are no better than the Republicans who failed to take on right wing antisemitism because they are afraid of alienating far right voters. (2/2)
It appears the horrific arson and attempted murder of Governor Shapiro, family and guests at the governor’s mansion was motivated by left wing antisemitism.
Not enough Democrats speak out against it, just as not enough Republicans speak out against right wing antisemitism (1/2).
