@stevemagness What do you make of 300-400, 700-800, and 1100-1200 being among the slowest, those are all the home straight as he heads into another lap.
@letsrundotcom What do you mean banned? Who does this apply to?
What if the one of athletes themselves set up a camera to analyze their own form and post the imagery online that they took themselves of their own body?
@stevemagness We used to be able to depend on our neighbours to intervene if kids got into trouble or mischief and the parents weren’t there. Seems people today could be too self absorbed or distracted by devices to notice
@Paul28730@stevemagness Yeah timing looked a bit sus but there is a video on YouTube he does look like he’s giving it his all but gets beat by athletes from other sports. Suspect he’s faking it a bit though, he’s probably run faster than that over the last 100 of a 5k
@EuroDale Why is this guy using the names of leagues instead of the names of sports. NFL, NBA, NHL? Europeans already don’t care about MLS or USL and still better at soccer lol
@Paul28730@stevemagness Mo Farah ran a 12.98 at some exhibition event when he was a 5000/10000 runner, the clock did look like it started a bit early. Still an Olympic boxer was in the race and beat him by more than 1 second
@stevemagness Winning a soccer match is like winning the most (of the 26) miles in a marathon irrespective of overall time. For this reason soccer matches are destined to be paced like positive splits, with the added complexity of having some participants competing as a relay team
@stevemagness I don’t think the data is useful irrespective of how the zones are done. What are we trying to figure out here? Is a player who sprints a lot hard working, constantly out of position or always getting poorly (or well) aimed passes?
