💙 Rangers mark AccessibAll Week of Action with Successful Disabled Supporters Association Launch Event.
Held as part of the AccessibAll Week of Action, the launch event brought together over 170 disabled supporters, club representatives and key stakeholders to establish the foundations of a new, independent association representing disabled Rangers supporters across a wide range of access needs.

Following yesterday’s game, Djeidi Gassama and Emmanuel Fernandez were subjected to racist abuse on their Instagram accounts. For any player, opening a phone and seeing abuse tied to the colour of their skin is simply unacceptable.
The content has been reported to Meta and will be reported to Police Scotland.
The accounts appear to be anonymous and are not connected to the club in any way. That may make action harder to take, but it does not lessen the seriousness of what happened or the responsibility of the platform involved.
Our immediate priority is the wellbeing of the players involved. We are in direct contact with Djeidi and Manny and have offered our full support both now and through any future judicial process.
We are proud that they stood up for themselves by highlighting this vile abuse last night.
Manny and Djeidi represent Rangers with commitment and pride. Every time they step onto the pitch, they do so on behalf of this club and our fans.
Many supporters have already reached out with messages of support. We welcome that backing. It reflects what this club stands for: pride in the shirt, respect for those who wear it, and a commitment to stand together.
Sending strength Gary as your treatment begins. An outstanding effort for The Eilidh Brown Appeal. Any donation or share is appreciated to help support children with cancer across Scotland.
Our friend and fellow FAB member Gary Ralston is facing a health challenge which, typically, he’s battling head on.
Gary was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year and, despite undergoing surgery, the cancer is now considered advanced, which requires a cocktail of hormone treatments and intensive radiotherapy, which will begin shortly at the Beatson.
Despite this, he has committed to raising money for The Eilidh Brown Appeal, a charity that supports children with cancer across Scotland with respite care.
Gary will compete in the Hyrox at the SECC in March and has set up a justgiving page to raise funds in memory of Eilidh.
All support and social media shares from our Rangers family would be enormously appreciated. You can donate and share, with further details here: https://t.co/HFZbiUrz04
From the bottom of his heart, thanks from Gary - and all your FAB team. You got this Gaz 💙💙
I wrote something about how The Scottish Football Kick-Off has grown in its first six months of anyone interested in this sort of thing: https://t.co/zO7Gk5F26Z

Well worth a read. A little look into the impact that the new facilities at Ibrox have made and the drive that John brings to the club to push us to make things better for fans.
Plaudits to @Graeme_McGarry for this and his feature pullout today on accessibility in football.
Meet John Spiers, the man who's Rangers mission is to "embed accessibility in everything that we do".
Here he tells the inside story of how the club have transformed the disabled experience at Ibrox.

We know there is a lot of interest but it’s been set up as a behind closed doors game to help with our preparations for the season ahead - with agreement from both clubs to only offer simple HT/FT updates.
Forget your desperate quests for Europe and your shameful ‘money no object’ pursuit of glory, this is what football should be all about and is why I’m so proud to support a club that cares about its fans

These are special moments, and as I keep saying “always carry a picture of yourself as a ten year old child, as that’s who you are, and that’s who you’ll always be”. The simple things are the best, they just are 🐝
