๐๐๐ Here's the first sneak peak of #Basebase in action! We use #Basebase all day, every day in #Slack, and it's a massive accelerator for our team. And unlike #Claude and #Openclaw, it's multiplayer and SECURE. LMK if you'd like to get Basebase in your team's Slack and I can add you to the waitlist. More demo videos coming soon! ๐ฟ
Thank you to @cynk, Vincent Bannister, @benwen, Jon Alferness for the first 1000+ PRs that got us here (seriously). 5 founders who code, need I say more?? ๐ช
How are you using AI agents with your team at work? Are you using #Claude? #OpenClaw? How do you share the output with your teammates? Do you trust it to handle your company's data safely?
I'm building an amazing new multiplayer productivity tool called #Basebase, with an amazing team: @benwen, @cynk , Vincent Bannister, and Jon Alferness. We want to know, because these are EXACTLY the problems we're trying to solve and we want to understand how they are affecting different types of teams.
#Basebase is currently in a private alpha, and we are saving our customer teams SO MUCH TIME right now because they can all access the agents together. It's almost like having a new teammate.
@zehranaqvi Well...we've been building Joinable, an IRL event discovery app, for the past year. Just launched at UC Berkeley 2 weeks ago, about to launch UCLA next week. All campus events in one place, with a social network underneath. Happy to chat! https://t.co/8LeIP2rVyZ
@FlakPhoto@substack I'd answer your question with a question: what is your goal when using social media? Is it news? creative ideas? human connection? friendship?
@profgalloway@FinancialTimes@IsabelBerwick Couldn't agree more. It takes >50 hours together to make a friend, and 12% of Americans don't have a single friend. We desperately need friendship, and the office is an easy way to get it. (Detractors: you don't have to be there 9-5/M-F.) https://t.co/xI5LJwbAJ6
Curious to hear thoughts from fellow entrepreneurs and investors on this thinking. Is this the right metric to track, or should we just go back to DAU?
Had an epiphany this morning and decided that we want to share openly about the process of building Joinable as a business. Like a devlog, but for building a consumer app. We'll be posting hypotheses, metrics, learnings, decisions, and open questions here. @wearejoinable
A cool thing about the "join" metric is that in order to increase it, we will first need to grow daily active users & engagement (creating/reviewing activities). And it's directly tied to our mission. (And we haven't discussed business models yet, but it's correlated!)
