The odd day off from school adds up: missing one day of school a fortnight equals four school weeks a year.
The magic happens in the classroom, don’t let them miss out.

2021 has been complex and my tweets reflect football more than education ATM, however I am reaching out to primary teachers in the Liverpool area in Sydney. I have a range of roles still to fill in 2022 and if you are available please DM me.
Amazing creative and critical thinking from 5/6S. They were challenged to create a machine that could replicate an earthquake to test some “earthquake safe” building designs.
A few years ago, before my time, HPS embarked on a journey to create our own Acknowledgment of Country. Today we published it in our school for all to see.
Next stage of the design process - test and improve! The tornado ripped through 2Bs balcony today. Most houses made were successful and met the criteria. Engagement levels were super high! Great to see kids testing, refining and discussing ways to improve. #stembuddies
Busy week at Hecko! Prepared online learning as well as work for students that don’t have access to the internet. We also did a food bank order today and each family got a shopping bag of cereal, eggs and long life milk. Don’t hoard. Our vulnerable families can’t access food.
Really enjoyed the chance to be able to share with 600 instructional leaders this morning on enhancing educator expertise. Great fun working alongside @DunnEducation for the day too. #EAFS2019
Best part of today... seeing my staff do an amazing job at the zone athletics in the terrible cold wind... AND seeing a proud high school student bring his report card up to his primary school to celebrate his achievement! @BoninoNicole@grenfell_scott
