I’m really looking forward to this update, it’s going to be a big change. While it might take some time to get used to, it’s a step in the right direction for @pixels_online.

Chapter 2 introduced some great ideas, but not all of them reached their full potential. That’s where 2.5 comes in. This is a big move forward, with 3 major updates that will transform the game XP, timers, and industry limits.

Here’s what’s coming:
➡️ XP and Timers: Many timers are increasing, which means XP gains are too. But it’s not a simple 1:1 adjustment. We’ve fine-tuned the overall balance to make sure it feels good—at the end of the day, that’s what matters most. TB will also reflect these new balances.
➡️ Industry Limits: This will look different from Chapter 1. Instead of a static limit across all industries, each land size (inc specks) will have specific limits based on industry type: producer, crafting, business, and petcare. The gate will show the percentage of each type you’ve used, making it easier to manage and strategize.

The best way to get a feel for this update is to dive in and experience it yourself. The update is set for tomorrow, Jan 28th. It’s a big shift, but we’ll be actively listening to your feedback and making adjustments as needed.

And this is just the beginning. 2024 is shaping up to be a massive year for @pixels_online, with a packed roadmap—some big updates, some small—that will continue to evolve the game in exciting ways.
