@little_lj@OMGgemma Problem is it probably wasn’t through their choice… they get paid for every patient listed and it appears that NHS England and a body called Primary Care Support England (Capita) have been over the last few years identifying “ghost” patients GPs are being paid for...
@OMGgemma@little_lj And then last night I was informed by 119 that once you are reregistered there is a 28 day waiting period to prevent vaccine tourism… the “get a jab when your eligible” and “the NHS is doing everything it can to accelerate roll out” from Hancock and Johnson et al to rather rile!
@HoHoHo80032773 @duncanatsimply @NHSuk You can bet a lot of them suddenly are now discovering that now they are trying to book covid jabs! Normally it wouldn’t be a issue, both a GP and A&E have to see you regardless in an emergency and then I imagine they just say “oh there must be a issue, can you sign this form”
@duncanatsimply @NHSuk I would make sure you’ve called your GP and confirmed that you are definitely still registered to the list, this appears to be where patients have been cleansed from the list, often by NHS England and often those people who haven’t used the NHS for a long time and are on the way
@ActualJBP @keatiann@NHSuk@BBCNews@SkyNews@Channel4News@MailOnline@TheSun A returned letter from say NHS PCSE (primary care support - aka nation mailing like screening etc) would trigger an FP69 Patient Removal to your GP that they SHOULD then try and contact you - perhaps if your address has an error or you move and it isn't updated. #error9907
@AnginetteH@aglet2@LadyBBA2014@NHSuk I've had from 119 this evening in 99% cases its your NHS number is no longer correctly linked to an active GP reg... but if you are re-registered then there is a apparently 28 day period before you can book through national booking. Chase the GP to confirm you are properly reg'd!
@forsythg@NHSuk When did you last see them? My GP was coy about acknowledging having not visited for 15 years I maybe wasn't registered - perhaps because politically its not good look loads of healthy people can't get jabs unbeknownst. Bet they'd normally just reregister you if you book an appt!
@forsythg@NHSuk I just called 119 again... different agent seemed somewhat more knowledgeable. Said 9907 is fairly new error and 99% its likely due to having no GP or your record "suspended" due to inactivity aka effectively deregistered. Apparently for new/re regs 28 day delay for booking.
@GuylArnel @NHSDigital@NHSuk@NHSEngland By "fairly new" used to apparently say "not eligible" but now comes up a more verbose msg i.e. #error9907 but no explanation. Did apologises for colleagues advising "logged an issue, try in 72 hours" loop. Chase your GP... mine wouldn't admit it but wanted updated history and ID

@ellie1981@Bryan13571@forsythg@NHSuk and how much I drink (that was 10 Qs all of which must be answered) - I refused Q2 as Q1 how often (Never) was followed by how much typically per session min answer 1-3 units which would be this inaccurate then "have you been violent while drunk" (there was at least a "no") 2/2
@ellie1981@Bryan13571@forsythg@NHSuk Mime were more interest in getting me to prove my ID and address as I hadn't seen them for years and updating my medical history on a awful questionnaire and asking about if I smoked (no) followed by was interested in cessation (err let me think) 1/2
@baileys36@PabloPique10@MattHancock@NHSuk Yep that is what is riling me too them banging on. I'm happy to wait my turn (well within reason) just as long as someone can 1) explain it and 2) provide some sort of ETA. Feel sorry for 119 staff, I got the impression that its most calls after all how many in 30s aren't online!
@OMGgemma @saralexi That's wishful thinking; mine seem to think that is the only reason to let you in! Insist that you fill in forms by hand (err... get with the times 2021, website?) and produce 2 forms of photo ID - which turned into passport or DL and a recent bill/bank statement once there 🙄!
@sugarpuffish@OMGgemma Particularly when according the the NHS website they don't need either proof of identity or proof of address! I had them demand I attended for a non-clinically necessary reason but god forbid needing to see them for a clinical reason - phone call still!
