Possibly the best grilled cheese I’ve ever made: Swiss, onion and portobella mushroom on bakery sourdough. Yum!
Moonlight = chilly night here in Grey County (feels like -12C) .
Tidied up, weeded, with a fresh layer of compost added to the veg beds. Garlic is planted. All prepped for winter. Just a few cold-hardy things like beets, spinach, onions, parsley and carrots are left.
Golden hour. The sun was behind us and creating dramatic vistas on the way home.

Well, hello! Tree frogs have come out of hibernation.
It’s -16 out there (with the windchill) this afternoon. The bird feeder out back, is absolute mayhem, but these birds on the front porch must have missed the memo that the drive-through is open.
