Iraola focuses on dynamics within the team to form a collective.
Others focus on the collective and THEN build dynamics.
The clearest example of that is how his how he uses fullbacks and wingers.
Similar to Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United with 'double width'.
Before Mane, Firmino and Salah there was Sturridge and Suarez 😍
The streets will never forget SAS 🔥
🗣️ Daniel Sturridge on Luis Suarez: "We hit it off instantly. We just had that thing where we know where each other would be. It was a joy to play with him. I wish I could have played with him longer because it was only a season and a half.
Our partnership was almost like two players who had individual technical abilities to score goals on their own, but could create for each other. That's what probably made us such a good partnership."
⚠️ In 2022, a UK mum at 31 weeks pregnant suddenly became allergic to her own baby.
It started with unbearable itching on her belly, then hours later her entire body exploded in red spots and huge painful blisters.
Her skin literally peeled off in agony.
Fiona was in so much pain she couldn’t even hold her newborn son, Barney.
Diagnosis: Pemphigoid Gestationis - an ultra-rare autoimmune disease (1 in 50,000 pregnancies) where her immune system mistook the baby’s placental proteins as invaders and attacked her own skin.
Thankfully, after heavy steroids she recovered and is now living happily with young Barney.
But with a 50% chance of it returning in future pregnancies Fiona has taken the difficult decision: no more kids.
🚨🚨🎙️| Kylian Mbappé: The player I learned the most from was Falcao. For a striker, starting alongside someone like that was pure gold."
"Falcao wanted to pass things on, and I had my ears wide open. I was ready to learn, and I learned a lot from him."
🚨💥 EXCL | Assan Ouedraogo will be called up to Germany’s World Cup squad as the replacement for Lennart Karl.
As revealed, the 20 y/o RB Leipzig top talent only narrowly missed out on the original squad. Now he will travel from his holiday in Spain to Chicago. Julian Nagelsmann has already informed him. Leipzig informed as well.
A World Cup dream comes true for Ouedraogo. @berger_pj@kerry_hau@SkySportDE 🇩🇪
🚨 Enrique Riquelme: “The manager we want for our Real Madrid project is Jurgen Klopp”.
“On Monday, if we win the elections, our director Raúl will get in touch with Klopp”.
🇩🇪 Kennet Eichhorn has everything to be an elite central midfielder in Europe's top five leagues.
At 16-years-old what he did at Hertha last season was special.
The things that standout to me about him are his physical and technical attributes combined with his footballing IQ.
He's already so strong in winning duels. Uses his body really well. Comfortable coming up against strong contact. His physicality has helped him transition to senior football.
🧠 But it's not just his physicality. His footballing IQ is elite. Very good at timing his movements, already has a good positional awareness playing in multiple roles at Hertha over the course of the season.
He is extremely mature for a player of his age. Constantly makes the right decisions and is very aware of his surroundings at all times. Lots of scanning when he's not in possession.
And then you have the technical side of his game. He has an excellent first touch, very press resistant and has a great range of passing. Constantly looking to play forward.
At his age anything can happen, but if he maintains his current trajectory, he could become a key player for Germany at international level and at an elite level club in Europe.
At youth level he played a slightly deeper CDM role but I think his future probably lies as a no.8.
Would be a phenomenal signing at the current €10m fee that is being discussed at the moment.
🚨 Bruno on why Amad could become one of the best wingers in the world:
🗣️ Reporter:
“Casemiro recently told us that Amad could become one of the best wingers in the world if he improves his finishing. Do you agree?”
🗣️ Bruno Fernandes:
“I agree completely. Not just me, a lot of the lads in the dressing room agree as well. The thing with Amad is that people look at goals and assists and think that's only what matters. It isn't.
Take the Fulham game for example. He didn't score. He didn't get an assist. Yet he was one of the best players on the pitch. He was constantly finding space, dragging defenders around and creating problems.
The first goal comes from him putting Cunha into a dangerous situation. He was involved in the buildup for the second goal. He put in a fantastic cross for Sesko that deserved an assist but unfortunately hit the crossbar.
And every time he got the ball, Fulham looked uncomfortable. Those are the things players notice. Those are the things coaches notice. After the game I joked with him and said: 'Amad, if Sesko lends you one of his shooting boots, you might win us the league.' (laughs)
Because honestly, if he adds a little more clinical finishing to his game, there isn't much that other top wingers do that he can't do. That's how highly we rate him.

🗣️ Tyler Fletcher on how he found out he's going to the World Cup:
“In the change room, after I found out Billy got injured and obviously gutted for him.
“The manager came up to me and said, might not be the last time I see you on this trip.
“So I was a bit like, wow. Then the next morning, I got a call at 8:00, and it was like, ‘Do I go to the World Cup?’ And I was speechless, and obviously, I said yes.
“That must have been incredibly quick? Yeah. I went to my auntie's wedding that night straight after the game. Stayed in Glasgow. And then they have rushed to the hotel to get on the bus to get to the airport.
“Did you even have all the stuff you needed? I've got nothing with me. I've got nothing in my suitcase. I've got no boots. Get my boots sent over in today, actually.”
🇫🇷🤔 Rayan Cherki: "What do I think of modern football? I’m not a fan of all aspects. Robots are good, but magic is better. It’s good to complete 99% of your passes, but it’s even better to produce five or six moments of genius. It’s frustrating because many coaches look for players who run the most or jump the highest. For me, that’s not football. My aim is to make old-style football fashionable again. One day, I hope to do that." (France Football)
