Meet Midnight, a sweet, happy girl with adorable webbed feet and an even bigger heart. ❤️ Despite everything she's been through, she still greets people with kindness and hope.

Midnight was found alone in the community after a concerned citizen noticed she hadn't moved from the same street corner for a long time. It breaks our hearts to think she was most likely dumped there, faithfully waiting for the person she loved to come back. 😭 She never gave up hope.

Now Midnight is in a high-kill shelter, where her future is uncertain. She deserves so much more than to have her loyalty repaid with abandonment.

🆘Extremely Urgent in California

I do believe this is the most beautiful GSD I’ve ever seen!! How the hell is he sitting in the most deadly kill shelter in California⁉️

This is 11 month old Nathan. He is located at , Apple Valley Municipal Animal Shelter, in Apple Valley, CA.

His shelter notes say he’s sweet , but very scared in the shelter.

He needs an Adopter or Foster so a Rescue can pull him to save his life‼️

Out of State adoption is possible. Adopter pays for Transport.

Julie is only 8 months old and she is deaf.
She was surrendered to the shelter on June 28 when her family was preparing to welcome a new baby. They shared that she is housebroken, good with children, good with other dogs, and already knows several hand signals.
Normally, puppies don’t stay in the shelter for very long.
But Julie has been there for almost 1 month…🥺
Every time someone stops at her kennel, they smile… until they hear one word.
Deaf. 💔💔💔💔💔
Then they keep walking. 😭
After spending time with Julie, my heart absolutely broke for her. She is incredibly sweet, so gentle when taking treats, eager to please, and unbelievably smart. She already knows hand signals for sit, down, and paw, and she’s ready to learn so much more.
Being deaf does not make Julie a difficult dog.
It simply means she communicates a little differently.
Dogs don’t care how we communicate… they just want to understand us. Julie can learn just like any other dog with patience, consistency, and love.
If you’re looking for a calmer dog who’s a little more chill, then a puppy probably isn’t the right fit for you… deaf or not. Please keep that in mind before adopting a puppy. They have lots of energy, they need guidance, they need patience, and they need someone who is willing to teach them how to navigate the world.
Julie deserves someone who will see who she is, not just the word “deaf” on her kennel card.

Maria was found in the community doing her best to survive on her own. This sweet, skinny girl has clearly had a hard life, and now she finds herself in a crowded, high-kill shelter where every day matters.

Right now, Maria isn't feeling well. She has had blood in her stools, and staff are closely monitoring her while hoping she starts to improve. Despite everything she's been through, she remains a gentle, sweet soul who deserves comfort instead of a kennel.
