The UAE has announced its withdrawal from OPEC and OPEC+ effective May 1, 2026, signaling a major strategic shift toward energy independence and national economic priorities. The move gives the country full control over production, supporting plans to expand capacity and potentially generate billions in additional revenue, used for Building a more stronger Nation. UAE positions itself for a more independent and influential role in the energy market.
