Last year I introduced 'Every Piece, Every Time' across the school: basic writing objectives (taken from yr group below) that we expect chn to demonstrate in all writing, if relevant. We have posters and checklists for editing and you're welcome to them π₯° https://t.co/vRzW6UZh69
There are loads of ways to signpost progress for students in your lessons. Sometimes the simplest are the best. Enjoyed the maths lesson that I was in today where a simple PostIt note showed chn exactly what they could do at the end of the lesson that they couldn't at the start.
Yet more schools today talking about the βphenomenalβ impact of 1-1 5-10 minute conferences with children every 3 weeks focusing on a piece of writing from the week. This replaces post lesson marking. People want to know how to organise this-how are you making this work?
