Das ist nicht aus dem Nichts gekommen. Seit Amtsantritt hat Hegseth über ein Dutzend Generäle und Admiräle gefeuert – allein in den vergangenen Stunden drei, darunter den Generalstabschef der Armee. Ersetzt durch Loyalisten. Seinen eigenen ehemaligen Adjutanten hat er zum neuen Generalstabschef gemacht.
Mitten im Iran-Krieg. Ohne Angabe von Gründen.
Erst werden alle entfernt, die Nein sagen könnten. Dann kommen die Loyalisten. Dann die Waffen.
Einen Coup nennt man das erst im Nachhinein. Vorher nennt man es Sicherheitspolitik.

16 yo Maksym is being treated in Kyiv after a brutal Russian strike on Sumy. He has multiple injuries and shrapnel wounds to his face. He has already undergone surgery.
