ARRESTED BY THE POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE: 37-year-old Andrew Martinez of Lakeland

At approximately 4:15 pm on Friday, June 26, 2026, PCSO deputies went to a residence on Dante Street in Lakeland, in an attempt to locate Andrew Martinez.

Mr. Martinez had a felony Polk County warrant for retail theft.

Once at the residence, deputies went to the front door to make contact with those inside.

Suddenly, a body fell through the ceiling over the front porch and crashed to the ground. It was Martinez.

He quickly got up and began to run away.

The deputies gave chase.

One of the deputies was accompanied with his K9 partner. The deputy yelled out to Martinez that if he continued running, the deputy would release K9 Reno.

With that, Martinez looked back, saw K9 Reno, and wisely opted to cease his run by jumping to the ground and surrendering.

Andrew Martinez was arrested on his warrant and additionally charged for resisting without violence for running away, albeit very briefly.

Denver City Council blocked Denver International Airport from leasing space to Key Lime Air, because the airline worked with ICE.

There was just one problem…

It violates FAA rules.

So what did they do?

City attorney Miko Brown allegedly urged the airport to fabricate an investigation into the airline’s safety record to cover up for illegally discriminating against the airline for political reasons.

When word got out, Brown and Mayor Mike Johnston flat out denied it.

However CBS just obtained an internal airport memo appearing to reveal the entire thing was true.
