@tnsampson2@Primary_Pianist I like the part where you magically became a mind reader who knows the intentions of people hearts and minds despite what their actions and words show.
Pretty sure that might count as divination, though? Should probably not use your mutant powers anymore to be safe.
@ilektramerc Stalin killed 6-20 *MILLION* people. He can keep his damn theory.
Lenin 1-8 million.
Engels and Marx have the cleanest hands. But all their followers who gained power justified *mass death* in the pursuit of utopianism.
I'm good man.
@ReviewsPossum a much more accurate depiction on the right, but still not entirely correct.
He takes his knowing downfall very seriously, that's why he's so bitter about it. He's too prideful to let it go and change.
The legions were just possessing pigs, they almost certainly didn't die.
@nonfrens@GuyJackson777 You seem to misunderstand Christianity at a fundamental level.
I don't know where you're hatred of Jews comes from, nor how much of it is performative.
But comparing Jewish culture from 2000 years ago to today is bordering on the absurd.
@basedbinkie Herbivores would possibly keep goats or cows for milk or other utility. (Pigs for digesting things etc.)
Carnivores would almost certainly grow grain and grass to feed their livestock.
@ScottRoberts I would say we were all condemned in Adam. I don't subscribe to the idea of Original Sin.
...we hardly need to, to still damn ourselves just as easily regardless. We never needed Adam's sins for our condemnation.
But Christ loves us regardless. That's a comforting though.
@CamillaTominey@gordonrayner Sooo...
This is ah... This is bigger news than The Rape Gangs then, Eh?
This is what deserves your attention?
Are you fucking insane?
@japan_nobunaga Utah. Our ancestors were chased across the country by angry mobs to settle where we are now. As a result we've got a very homogenized culture, in much the same way Japan does, though, unfortunately, not as intense.
But no other state feels quite like it.
@LeagueOneWes Or, alternatively: most of it is true and you are either intentionally or unintentionally trying to help cover up one of the most horrific events in modern western history.
You must be *extremely* confident you are correct. Which I am both respectful of, and baffled by.
@TheSkepticWiz It largely comes from a difference in debate expectations.
One argues from secular evidence and researched data.
The other from personal experience and heritage.
It's like two people arguing over whether boats or airplanes are better. It might be fun, but ultimately it's silly.
@IndianaBrunner Which version?
Which cannon was included in that version?
Which books?
"The Bible" isn't a monolith. It would make things a lot easier if it were.
But we're left to do our best with what is given to us. *shrug.*
@readthebooks22@GuyInco15542744@RocksTorum and in truth?
Probably none of us are entirely true.
We're all various shades of "close."
Thankfully that seems to be enough for his Grace and Mercy to make up the difference.
As undeserving of it as we all are.
