@PeteFiutak Easy fix. Get rid of conference championship games and replace it with a conference game of the last two playoff eligible teams. Still play it at a conference neutral site. Conferences still make same amount of money. A Texas v Vandy rematch would have more viewership anyway.
@nashvegas__@espn As someone who has been on the Cotton Bowl board for over a decade, the entire system is rigged by ESPN and their thirst for ratings and schools that churn out 25,000 viewers a year.
Among other CFP moments of glory tonight: Vanderbilt beating Tennessee so badly in Neyland that it knocked the Vols out of the Top 25, thus negating any credit the Commodores could have gotten, is a chef's kiss of nonsense.
Seany D’s definitive top 15 college football ranking (don’t bother arguing, because I am right about everything):
1. Ohio State
2. Indiana
3. Texas Tech
4. Georgia
5. Oregon
6. Alabama
7. BYU
8. Texas A&M
9. Oklahoma
10. Ole Miss
11. Utah
12. Vanderbilt
13. Miami
14. Notre Dame
15. Texas
We didn’t take the scenic route.
We took the @SEC route — and came out 10–2.
That kind of season matters.
And yes, it should matter 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁 in the CFP discussion.
I am so over Texas fans. Vandy wins 8 out of 10 against them on a neutral field. Tell me a quality road win Texas had all year. You lose to 3-9 Florida and you are below a 10-2 Vandy team.
Vanderbilt is the only bubble team getting absolutely jobbed.
The difference in SOR and actual rankings is egregious.
Notre Dame +3
Miami +3
Utah +4
Vanderbilt -3
Trash. Hot trash.

Vandy fans were absolutely WILD for this one 😯
Our No. 2 moment of the year- when @VandyFootball's goal posts went 3 miles to the river after taking down Alabama ⚓️
