@JoshEberley These playoffs have been incredible. Physicality is off the charts, unlike anything I’ve ever seen, and teams are still putting up 100 because the talent is that good. Narratives are elite too. We have two polarizing villains (Wemby, all of OKC) and a true underdog in Brunson
@Tayler_P15 I actually don’t mind the last part and wish everyone played—and could get away with—the kind of D they play. They’re amazingly talented, and I agree they’d still be a 60+ win team if the NBA could somehow legislate out the antics. As it is now though, it’s just a brutal watch.
@Tayler_P15 Unabashed Thunder hater here. I promise you it’s because of how they play. Constant flopping on both ends by everyone and foul hunting by their star on offense while playing ultra physical on D knowing the refs won’t call everything.
@SherwoodStrauss It’s a foul on the reach on Shai’s body and arm, yet he snaps his head back and falls to the ground for no reason. It’s just awful to watch.
Most of the time Prime Harden was doing his bullshit, he was getting fouled too.
It’s an aesthetic thing.
@jaycaspiankang@mdotbrown Wemby game is lowest on that list just given higher stakes of the others. And Game 1 pacers knicks and game 1 pacers thunder last year may be higher on the list than the Wemby game for me too, but that’s splitting hairs
@Adam_Mares This is some insanely high level hoops tonight. I was unable to watch as much of the regular season this year as usual, and tuning into the playoffs I’m blown away by some of these teams (including both of these ones).
