Our fellow graduates representing at @neurocritical#NCS2024!
@GrigoryMD (MSHS NCC ‘22) presenting on engaging EM learners in NCC, and @STsetsou (MSHS NCC ‘19) with one of the top scoring posters on her TBI research!
We are so proud of both of you 😍
Tried to set up call forwarding with @Verizon to have a colleague cover the ICU unexpectedly. When calling @VerizonSupport an automated message says this can only be done through the app. The app says it can only be done by calling support. Are there less incompetent providers?
@nirmalregency How many LPs? Would need 3 LPs, 20-30 ml each for cytology and flow cytometry. If truly negative then would biopsy. If any other organ involved would biopsy that. If not, then probably biopsy the left frontal lobe.

#POCUS transcranial Doppler can be hard to integrate into practice - a 🧵on how it can change management. Trauma post OR for laparotomy (no CTs yet) - still unstable, TCDs done given low GCS.. diastolic reversal suggesting severely elevated ICP 🧠🤯😢#medtwitter#echofirst
Work done when @GrigoryMD was a fellow with faculty mentor @senelson13! Very important work and confirmation of what so many of us worry about after TTM2. At #NCS2023
Terrific work by @GrigoryMD! Following TTM2 publication, rates of post-cardiac arrest fever increased and cooling device use had a trend for decreasing at our institution. @MountSinaiNCC@neurocritical
Jason Bartos at #parisrescue tells us that post cardiac arrest ECPR patients comatose for 2 weeks still have 25% chance of survival. Need to understand ECPR patients require time and patience. @LionelLamhaut
