Germany's Chancellor Merz:
We can no longer accept the extraordinarily high levels of sick leave in our companies.
We are abolishing sick leave by telephone and introducing the requirement to submit a medical certificate from the very first day of illness.
We know this is a tough decision. But we can no longer afford this competitive disadvantage caused by prolonged absences from work.
STEVE JOBS GOT FIRED FROM APPLE.
Then he walked straight into MIT and dropped the most raw, unfiltered 60-minute business masterclass ever recorded.
Zero PR bullshit. Zero image to protect.
Just pure, brutal honesty from the man who built Apple once and was about to rebuild it even bigger.

🇹🇭 Thailand can be wild. KFC once sued a Thai friend chicken restaurant called "Hitler" for trademark infringement. A Jewish tourist reported their biscuit sign: "We bake our biscuits right. Over 6 million served."
PATTAYA KILLER COULD GET 5 YEARS
Two Pattaya suitcase cases, 21 years apart.
In 2005, Swedish man Kenneth Eriksson was convicted of manslaughter after a Thai woman’s body was hidden in a suitcase. He received 5 years in prison after a guilty plea.
In 2026, an Australian man has been arrested and charged after a 17-year-old Thai girl was found dead in a suitcase in Pattaya. This case is still ongoing and there has been no final court judgment yet.
These cases are not just crime stories. Behind them are real victims, grieving families, and lives that should never have been taken.
May the victims rest in peace.

This whole story makes me so sad. If there's any moral to this, it would be that money doesn't always change people for the better. And more needs to be done to help people with mental illnesses.
A 49-year-old Hindu priest in Andhra Pradesh, India, who reportedly claimed he could fly using divine powers, died after jumping from a mountain peak. He succumbed to the fall at the scene.
The Perth man who allegedly murdered a 17-year-old Thai girl and stuffed her body in a suitcase had his guns taken off him by Australian police before he travelled to Thailand, and associates of Simon Peter Carman described him as an aggressive loner who “lived like a pig”.
The Perth man left for Thailand around eight months ago in search of a cheaper life and for back surgery after Australian doctors refused to operate on him.
He transformed himself from morbidly obese to a ginger beer brewer who lived in a rented apartment – with airconditioning in every room – for $100 a week where he would swim in a pool daily and walk the streets.
Carman was just moments from boarding a Jetstar flight to Perth when Thai authorities apprehended him. He has now been charged with murdering Tunchanok Donhomla, who was described by her father and stepmother as hardworking, good-natured and someone who wanted to support her family.
Speaking of Mr Carman, her stepmother said: “I told the police I want him executed.”
Her father, Thongchai Donhomla, added: “I am deeply saddened, my daughter had no mother so when she wanted anything she would find a way herself and she always helped me too.”
We've spoken to many of his friends and acquaintences.
“I can’t complain, I’m almost a local already,” he told one friend shortly after moving to Thailand. He reported frequently getting massages.
For around a decade leading up to his departure for Thailand, Mr Carman had been living on and off in a unit inside an industrial estate in the southern Perth suburb of Rockingham, and lived off a disability pension and payments linked to injuries he suffered as a truck driver.
According to one man who knew him, Mr Carman had a rod in his back; another said he had a large gash to the back of his head that required staples in his skull.
Associates said Mr Carman took strong painkillers, and described him as a sad and lonely figure inside the cluster of industrial warehouses.
