@pollinatingsand@BigBoris_2 It assumes a good God would never allow suffering. As Alvin Plantinga showed, that assumption fails, so there’s no logical contradiction. Even atheist William Rowe admits it’s not a disproof of God.
@ASiddiqua773 @mindyaown2@Azhaar3818@JaeSwoon Obviously the ideal is to get a house. And forcing your wife to stay in a house where she has to be in parda constant is obviously bad. My main point is you can't say it's categorically haram. It may not be the ideal, or encouraged thing
@mindyaown2@Azhaar3818 @ASiddiqua773 @JaeSwoon There's obviously a difference opinion. But still you can't say it's categorically haram. I'm not saying it's the best thing to do or encouraged
@Tweezys_HO @Traderator110 @Azhaar3818 How is reading a khatam Hindu influence? There's nothing wrong with doing good deeds and giving that as sadaqah to the dead
@mindyaown2@Azhaar3818 @ASiddiqua773 @JaeSwoon The thing is you can't say it's haram. As there is leeway within Islam for this to be permissible. Obviously the best is to have a separate house for your wife. But people have different circumstances where they can't get a house, so that's why there is leeway.
