Ok, I realize that others less intrepid than I think I absconded with the knowledge of what happened in the story. There is no story. Why were the police called? Hell if I know. It doesn't really say. I was thinking monstrous possibilities. Some kind of Lovecraftian devilry, crossed with devious allusions to bestiality, or alien influence. But alas, none of these scintillating ideas were included. I should have been more clear: I took one for the team, and have come back from the abyss to tell you all there is nothing at the bottom of this dark, bleak chasm.

I took one for the team and read the whole thing. Pretty sure this proves I am not nearly as intelligent as I thought I was, and of course like everyone else I thought I was above average IQ. Hard to rate this one. I'm thinking it's 0.25 out of 10. Was hoping for a great "loch ness monster" reveal, personally.
