Completed model on the Monster Girl Encyclopedia Apophis. Has been a fair while since I last modelled a lamia, but happy with how she turned out, despite me going slightly insane texturing everything.

MGE Apophis - WIP Day 6
Got the body fully rigged with a basic rig for now, minus the hair and some of the outfit bits. Also close to finished with the texturing, just got some highlighting to do. Then it's onto the shape keys for facial expressions and such.

Didn't get too much done today, but made a start on texturing the hair, almost finished texturing the tail, and almost done the outfit. Just got the hip parts to finish then the wrist bracelets. Then it's onto rigging.

Making a start on texturing the tail and the accessories and it's going better than I was expecting. Still need to add a few extra highlights for added depth. I just hope the lamia tail is long enough for coils when I get around to rigging it.

Made a start on the hair and body texturing, but still got a good chunk more to do, such as adding more starnds of hair for added volume.
Not even thought about starting on the tail yet, that is a problem for future me.

Did not get as much done today due to IRL stuff. But got the head + accessories blocked out. May need to tweak the eye shape a little, but will do that once I start on the hair. May also texture the eyes tomorrow as the base colour is staring into my soul.

Been a little while since I last modelled a Lamia, so decided to give the Apophis from MGE a go.
Still blocking parts out and using palceholder colours as a ref, but making all the body jewellery should be a fun challenge, so will see how it goes.

Cogita Model WIP
Body almost fully textured, minus the hands and feet. Just got the rest of the outfit then the hair to texture. Then it's onto rigging, which shouldn't be too bad as the outfit is not overly complex. Now I have likely jinxed myself.
@aking40k Itβs for personal use at the moment. But down the line I will likely set it up for VRChat and make it available for public use. Though got a couple of projects to work on first. As Iβll need to set up more shape keys for facial expressions for her as well.

Still got a few more tweaks to do on the hair, then it's onto texture painting everything and rigging. Pretty happy with how the hat turned out, and will add the extra details on the rim with an alpha paint layer later on.

Little tail and ear rig test for Tamamo-no-Mae. Still needs some bone / weight tweaks + extra texturing, but overall is not a terrible attempt despite me not being the biggest fan of rigging and weight painting.

I used to hate hand painting 3D textures, but I kinda enjoy it now. It's nice to see it slowly take shape as you add depth and colour. Though still got a long ways to go on it yet.
