@mburnsmath With numbers this small it’s entirely unnecessary. This can be easily drawn or demonstrated if they need conceptual understanding. I’d need to know the context before fully blasting the idea though. Maybe there’s more to the story.

@DrKChilds In my experience, the problem tends to be that districts purchase great curricula but then tell the teachers what parts NOT to use. My former district bought a huge ELA curriculum and told us not to use the writing or grammar portion.
