I am elated to inaugurate the Lakshyan Academy of Sports (@lakshyanacademy) in Bengaluru today!
Hats off to the management of Lakshyan Academy—@LYASHICA29, Jeevan Mahadevu, @dhanrajpillay1, @arjun_halappa, and Vikas Srinivasan—along with the dedicated coaches and staff for this phenomenal multi-sporting facility.
The academy boasts cutting-edge facilities like—Table Tennis Hall, Chess Hall, Squash Courts, Football Fields, Gymnastics Arena, Shooting Range, Badminton Arena, Basketball Courts, High-performance Gym Centre, Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre, and much more.
International-standard sporting infrastructure like these will provide impetus to Indian sports. Witnessing such proactive involvement from stakeholders is truly heartening. I welcome their efforts towards making Bharat a sporting powerhouse.
It’s easier to complain than change.
It’s easier to blame than take ownership.
It’s easier to give up than persevere.
It’s easier to doubt than believe.
But taking the easy path only guarantees you’ll stay stuck in your current circumstances.
Do what it takes to get better.
Before you get upset with your playing time, think about whether you’ve earned the right to be upset. Have you really worked to be the best you can be? Has your performance improved? If not, don’t be surprised if you’re not playing. On the court & in life, you get what you earn!
What do Winners Do?
- Winners do not Blame.
- Winners do not Complain.
- Winners do not Make Excuses
They simply get to work and focus on what they can control -> their Attitude and their Effort.
They Control the Controllable.
No Deposit - No Return.
Get to Work.
"It's the work you do every day.
That's where your confidence comes from.
That's where your confidence is always going to come from.
What you do every day is you."
No one can give you confidence.
You earn the right to be confident through your preparation and practice.
"Everybody's sore. Everybody's tired. Everybody has an excuse. Don't be everybody."

Different requires discipline.
Different requires sacrifice.

To persist & endure.”-Pat Summitt

"You have a choice to make when you're not playing. Either you're invested and a great teammate or you're not."-Brad Stevens
You can bring your ego, or you can bring your energy. Either way it will impact the team and the game.
Choose to be a relentless teammate-choose energy.

✅ GOOD players listen when criticized
✅ GREAT players grow when criticized
You better watch those people that bounce back from everything that was meant to DESTROY them. Those are Gods people and they’re not to be played with.✅
Success comes with the realization that there is no finish line. It’s a daily climb, a journey & it never ends. Sometimes it’s a tough, gritty, harsh journey, but it’s always reachable. Choose not to allow excuses or bad habits to keep you from your journey & stay disciplined!
