My book, Usability Playtesting: How to Find Your Game’s Friction Points, is now content complete and can be read for free here https://t.co/nJYQTvJHkQ
I hope this encourages more games teams to run their own playtests.

Over the past few years, 'lack of a clear vision' has directly lead to the delay, poor reception, or cancellation of a surprisingly high number of games. In this @GIBiz talk I outlined the human reasons behind why this happens.

Playtesting is not just about getting feedback on your game, it’s also about building a better team and studio.
To encourage studios to do their own playtesting, I’m in writing a usability playtesting book, you can read it here https://t.co/nJYQTvJHkQ

Delighted to be speaking about team vision alignment and its role in a game's success at the @GIBiz HR Summit later this year.

Is your games team aligned on a common vision?
Focusing on the right problem. I explain why I moved career from User Research to Organisational Psychology in an interview with @Pejman_MB and @samanthastahlke for their new book.

I knew I'd like the book Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow from the outset when it said the author 'Lives between Los Angeles and Stardew Valley'.
But, in the first chapter it says 'She pressed a 3.25 inch disk into his hand'. In the '90s we had 3.5" and 5.25", but not 3.25" 🤔
