Our first release candidate of #Grml 2022.11 is hitting our mirrors! 🤓
We dedicate our new release with code-name "MalGuckes" to @guckes, who sadly passed away way too early! 😿 RIP Sven, let's try to make the world a better place! 🤝

We mourn the loss of another Grml Contributor 😢Matthias 'Maddi' Kopfermann unfortunately passed away. Maddi had significant part in zsh-lovers (https://t.co/C70sC9dwyB). He was an enquiring person as well as wonderful pianist. Thanks for everything, Maddi - stay curious! 🙏
Did you already get a #JauKerl? 💉
Our #Grml stable release 2021.07 is hitting the mirrors! Grab it while it's hot and spread the word! 🥳

Last chance to test our release candidate and get your issues fixed! New #grml stable release is supposed to happen in the next very few days!

If you're wondering why managed to reach 100% uptime during our maintenance window: murphy prevented the migration due to a hardware situation of our provider, so we have to reschedule it 🤷
We'll work on our upcoming release instead and think that's an OK-ish trade 🤓
We test murphy's law by moving one of our servers on 2021-06-24, starting at 11:45 UTC. Several of our services (incl. mail, web + deb) won't be available during the migration period. We hope the server works fine, otherwise someone has to search for a rescue live system 🤷
For >17 years we used the #freenode IRC network for our project communications and made many friends there. After the hostile takeover of freenode we moved our IRC channel to #OFTC (https://t.co/7umNnFRV8b), so please join us at #grml over there!
We recently switched to use 1m as new default squashfs block size, resulting in smaller ISOs. If you should notice issues like slower boot, more latency,… with our daily ISOs (see https://t.co/oVJUX4a9nt) please let us know! 🙏🙌

Hat tip to @mikagrml for grml, currently exfiltrating all of my laptop's current storage to a nearby machine. Using a live system means I can just dd the disk 👍
Just booted @grmlproject Linux for the first time on HW with a speaker.
<3 that you can hear from the next room, once the boot has finished! <3 <3 <3

Does anyone of you have a Windows system and could test our Grml 2020.06 release ISOs with Ventoy? Would be great to get @grmlproject listed at https://t.co/ErUs4JMmSN and ensure everything is working smooth!
