@MonteSyrie I’ll tell you. I’m for progressive education methodology BUT I teach Dental students and I’m not sure that method would benefit them long term. They have high stakes tests for licensing. My concern is, are we setting them up for failure in college? I’m seeing disturbing trends

@MonteSyrie I do record my lectures. I say “make sense?” And “questions?” a lot.

@MonteSyrie We do in Dental Hygiene. Some things are simply “pass/fail” (I like “mastery/improving”). Instead of placing stressful numbers that have zero value after school we assess whether or not they’re ready for the next step through mastery. Can they do the skill/answer questions?
