3⃣ After shutting down its Windsor plant for 2 weeks, Stellantis confirms its lines will be idle for 3 more weeks.
4⃣ The Liberals threaten Stelco’s parent company with legal action if they do not reverse shuttering their Hamilton plant.

Carney told Canadians to buy Canadian.

His own portfolio was 91% American entities. Only three Canadian companies out of 567.

Now the contracts: share going to American-controlled firms jumped from one in five under Trudeau to nearly one third under him. $7.8 billion. IBM, Microsoft, L3Harris, General Dynamics on top. Subsidiaries get counted as Canadian.

Then the $2 billion heat pump rebates. Enercare, which installs and finances them, is Brookfield. His filings listed heat pump manufacturers too.

Buy Canadian for you. US ownership and Brookfield for him.

As a Canadian, do you want this? Did you ask for this? Did anyone even vote for this?

Cozying up to Europe does not sit right with me. It feels like a completely backwards move. Why would we want to latch onto a failed experiment? A failing economy? The Europe everyone thinks they know is gone, it’s been ruined by a handful of people making decisions like Carney is doing for Canada.

No one should be cheering on this “alliance”
