For someone with polished credentials and an important standing within the Lawsoc that governs and regulates the ethical behaviour of lawyers in SG, this was not only an act of cruelty toward a potential victim of SA but also a laughable display of superficial beliefs on sexual relations and irrational conclusions reached by cherry picking quotes from reports of the case. Not to mention this guy prejudged the matter in passing during a weekend LinkedIn post.

There is no charitable way of reading his post. It is a mockery of the victim’s suffering, and emblematic of a deeper problem of misogyny even within the highest offices in the industry.

This cynicism does deserve the dogpiling that’s ongoing in LinkedIn.
