Yesterday was a great day ๐

In 30+ years of observing politics in 3 countries, I have NEVER seen such an outpouring of disgust and scorn at country's PM as is being unleashed on @ScottMorrisonMP. Loathing of Gillard was Murdoch-driven. This is grass-roots stuff - visceral - terminal. #auspol#MorrisonFires
@sugaranddice_@clementine_ford And you know what I think would have actually made you smile, him genuinely smiling as you passed one another. It would have been a very positive encounter. Entitled boomer prick...๐
Today's CTD deployment, sent down a shallow 300m into the Coral Sea to collect water samples to measure nitrate isotopes.

Enjoying a Sunday sleep in? You won't find a #dolphin doing that! Dolphins need to be conscious to breathe & literally sleep with one eye open. Each half of their brain takes a turn sleeping, with one eye closing at a time.

Another fantastic day out checking duck nest boxes with the wonderful fellas of Geelong Field & Game. ๐ฆ @ Connewarre, Victoria https://t.co/O9Qf0NiUEr
@PrestonFFitzIII @ecambage Worst argument. Why would they even have the need for the wheel? Indigenous Australians are nomadic by nature. It doesn't make them less 'civilised'. In fact it highlights their ties and respect to the land, which is lost in cultures who might have actually needed 'the wheel'.
@pl8spin@ecambage Because they are still suffering from the atrocities and indignities that they lived through. Heard of a thing called generational trauma? So many closed minds and hearts (such as yours) hinder reconciliation and healing.
