@crypt0taku @pastonrepeat @ccznen@OrwellNGoode Bro the purpose of language is to clearly communicate ideas in an efficient way that easily understandable to everyone who speaks that language. Getting caught up in syntax and semantics does nothing to further language or humanity
@MattBS9R@subwayvandal@ThatMiniMan@EisakuOtomo For example, in Avatar the Last Airbender, Zuko’s internal conflict is trying to suppress his aggressive upbringing. When he fights his sister Azula, he wins because he was able to contain his aggression and she was not. The internal and external conflicts are complementary.
@MattBS9R@subwayvandal@ThatMiniMan@EisakuOtomo I mean that’s true in the sense that the characters would not be in that situation if Mickey hadn’t joined the expendables program, but what I’m guessing they mean is the expendables program had nothing conceptually or thematically to do with the conflict present in the climax
@nyaghta@somedarkmarvel1@sunsungirly If you hired a plumber and he couldn’t explain how a pipe works or what a wrench is to you would you let him fix your sink?
Why would it be different for the president?
