Nikiona hizo As nahuzunika tu,mimi nilipata strong A,nikatop a county and among the top in country,nikatokea kwa gazeti na nikaingia Equity bank then medical school. 5 years later post University medical school I survivive on gigs because I have never found a good opportunity to effectively utilize my skills and capabilities effectively. Sijawahi kuwa na payslip my entire life,hata pesa ya CBA madaktari wanalipwa siko kwa hio mix because I have never been employed by the government and despite my lack of connections, I said I’ll never bribe anyone for a county or government job. My entire life post Campus has been kutafuta huku na kule na sukuma twende.The whole point of this post is to tell you to advice those kids to enroll in self sustaining courses and universities globally that allow creativity and innovation. I turned down Ivy League universities for UoN medical school and my peers the like of Nalianya are building robots in Texas and my classmate @CKalekem doing great things in tech huko PA. This is the reality that our government has no plan for us the youth that’s why you hear the bullshit that A students work for C/D students in a mediocre society. A students should be building startups,solving problems in our society and employing people in different sectors of the economy like functional states do. Some of us learnt this reality late but those kids can have a chance early. Sisi tuliuziwa Actuarial science and Medicine as the future let’s sell them STEM and autonomy as the future! A students should be bettering our society not working for C/D students.
