JUST IN: JMPD officers uncovered a suspected operation in Johannesburg's CBD where expired juices and yoghurts were allegedly being relabelled with fake expiry dates before being sold to the public. The discovery was made after informal traders fled from officers during a by-law enforcement operation. Inside a building on Edith Cavell and Plein streets, police allegedly found chemical thinners used to erase expiry dates, fraudulent labels, and suspected stolen electrical cables linked to infrastructure theft.
