@chocolatadisco It was such a healthy response & they just “got it”. On the Marta, the youth talked with other passengers about their animals. The youth were open and unafraid, passengers were totally engaged in conversation and everyone was smiling and genuinely having a great time.

@chocolatadisco I love your story. My hubby gave me a Snuffles Bear on our first anniversary. After some time I had bronchitis and Snuffles kept my chest warm while I got well. He’s been there every night since. We’ve been married 41 years.

@chocolatadisco We had a Youth Gathering in Atlanta GA and as my youth and I; with animals in tow, walked through the airport and on to the Marta. People gawked. Some were brave enough to ask. The Youth said “it is perfectly fine to have a something of comfort along when you are away from home”

@chocolatadisco A fun part of the story is for several years I worked with middle and high school youth, leading local, regional and national retreats. Snuffles went along on every trip. Soon the youth started bringing their favorite stuffed animal (or blanket or whatever) with them.
