I am absolutely SHOCKED and borderline disgusted that @thegestgroup Trauma Summit 2025 has a faculty
Full of men!!!
I am sure I missed the female
Speaker. Please tell me I have!
There are so many fantastic female #irads in USA with trauma expertise!!!

@goldstone_tony Thank you for this. I have been back and forth with @ForvisMazarsUK for four weeks and cannot get a decent answer or support from them. I have mentioned that the recommendation came via @goldstone_tony and I would like help but they are not very responsive and very slow. ๐
Register for this upcoming HSG study day! Improve your technique and hear about the current trends in diagnostic imaging for benign gynae pathology! Book early to avoid disappointment as places are limited.

Currently, women make up only 1 in 10 Interventional Radiology Consultants in the UK. IRJ would like to address this by sharing with you some experiences of inspiring female IRs!
We start the series with Dr Elika Kashef @grounds4riots
Dr Elika Kashef undertook her radiology training at HHNT Trusts and completed an IR fellowship from 2008-2010 at St Mary's Hospital. She then became a consultant IR and the lead for trauma radiology at Imperial College NHS Trust in 2011.
