A few months ago I was working at a fast food restaurant.
Now I a 18 yr old make upwards of $5000 a month help home service businesses stop losing customers to missed calls, using AI.
I didn't have a big budget or a team. What I had was:
1. One niche
2. One simple offer
3. A list of businesses to call
The skill that changed things wasn't building. It was talking to business owners about a problem they already feel.

I am scaling an AI service business and looking to meet people into:
β Cold calling and outreach
β Landing service clients
β AI receptionists and follow-up systems
β Home service niches (plumbing, HVAC, roofing)
β Building offers that actually sell
I'm helping local businesses with AI myself and sharing the process here.
comment "hi" and let's connect π
@exolt_AI Hi I'm building an AI service business, mostly helping local businesses with missed calls and follow-up. Would love to connect with others working on AI and client work.
@b4dgerr Organic marketing is important if you want to build a brand. If your goal is just to get attention and drive sales, buying impressions might be the better option.
Don't let anyone tell you that you're too young bro, this isn't the days of old where you needed experience or a degree, technology and ai have made things 1000x easier, you can do it bros never give up the age barrier doesn't exist anymore.
I believe in you broπͺ
Why I chose home service businesses:
1. The jobs are high ticket
Many jobs are worth thousands, and big ones like roof or HVAC replacements can pass $10k. Smaller repairs are less, depending on the trade.
2. A few extra leads change everything
Helping a client land just 2 to 5 more leads can mean a lot of money to them. That's why they're happy to keep paying you.
3. If you use percentage based selling it increases your profit margin
For instance:
- You help a client win 2 extra jobs worth $10k each = $20k
- At 10%, your cut is $2k from that one client
- Do that with 5 clients = $10k
4. They already feel the problem
Missed calls and slow follow-up are lost jobs. You don't have to convince them it matters.
Which niche would you pick, and why? Comment below.
Most business owners don't know how much money they lose to missed calls.
Your job is to make the number visible.
Ask them:
1. How many calls do you miss in a week?
2. What's a typical job worth?
3. How many of those callers do you think never call back?
Do the math out loud with them.
Once they see the cost, you're not selling a service anymore. You're showing them money that's slipping away.

If I needed to make $2k from scratch before the end December, here's how I'd go about it.
Step 1: Set the goal
$2k is 2 clients at $1,000 or 4 clients at $500. Pick one. Fewer clients means a bigger offer. More clients means more conversations.
Step 2: Pick one niche
People go for offers that speak to them directly. "AI for plumbers" beats "AI for businesses."
Step 3: Pick one service
Website, AI receptionist, follow-up system, or review system. Choose one you can actually deliver.
Step 4: Build the offer around that niche and service
"Missed-call text-back for HVAC companies" is an offer. "AI automation" isn't.
Step 5: Set the price
Work backwards from the goal. Two clients means $1,000 each. Four clients means $500 each.
Step 6: Find the people who need it
Build a list of businesses in your niche. Collect their name, number, and one specific thing you noticed about them.
Step 7: Reach out, one after the other
Call first, then follow up by text or email. Work through the list one by one.
Goal β niche β service β offer β price β list β outreach.
Comments "yes" if you'll be making $2000 before the end of December
What does a service business actually need to stop losing leads?
1. A place to track every lead (CRM)
2. An instant text when a call is missed
3. Follow-up that doesn't depend on someone remembering
4. A booking calendar
5. A way to collect reviews
Most builders stitch together several different tools for this. More logins, more bills, more things to break.
I run all of it in one platform, HighLevel, same account for different clients.
