Another amazing day riding in southern Georgian Bay. In this year of COVID-19, our thanks to the 243 cyclists and 780 donors who gave $194,200 to @ParkinsonCanada and @team_dpf to help people with #Parkinsons to live well today. 📷 @thewilsonhome Donate @ https://t.co/1r7lBx8lox
The first book I read after my diagnosis with Parkinson’s was @realmikefox’s “Lucky Man.” MJF, who announced his retirement from acting today and publishes another book, “No Time Like the Future,” this week, has inspired me to live fully, never to give up — and to learn guitar.
For those of you keeping score (Rule #12), here are the specifications for and the story behind the @MariposaBikes 650B All-Road "Growling Beaver" Tandem that Max and I rode last weekend. #tandem @growling_beaver https://t.co/84lZPPx3eV
We want to thank @growling_beaver for their support and providing hope for so many in the Parkinson community! They are hosting their 6th annual cycling event online on October 3 in the Collingwood area. All of you are truly inspirational.

The 2020 virtual #GBB2020 Growling Beaver Brevet is underway. Athletes are riding to help raise money for @ParkinsonCanada until Oct 3 (donation link in first comment). Our launch video on Why We Ride: https://t.co/LlAQr2AgC3
John (@ruffoloj) has been a consistent supporter of our ride. His #domestiques cycling group was created with @TimHockey to use cycling to help others. Wishing John all the best for his recovery.
We come across people in life who are determined to make the world better. Then tragedy strikes and we lose faith to see then cut down by chance ... until they rise and show us their resilience and grace. Joining many in wishing @ruffoloj and Carryn well. https://t.co/8H6hTDGSGz
Brain Canada is thrilled to be among @macleans top 100 charities for 2020! We will continue to advance big, bold, brain science. For more on Canada’s best charities 2020: https://t.co/RL8uTNn05V
This year I’m trying something new EVERY DAY for 365 days and blogging about it over at https://t.co/9mK09zdXXl Why? Because we don’t spend enough time growing and developing ourselves. Fun things + people we love = #happiness#mentalhealth#Parkinsons#blogger#blog#health
Michael and Evan starting the day with a lead out of the GBB 200. This is the friendship that ties everything together. Michael and Dede first introduced Evan to the Phinneys — and the seed was planted. And it was… https://t.co/Xxpppyf4c2
Great article on living with #Parkinsons , the value of humour and friendships from @AllanMaki — including @WBrettWilson who has been a friend to so many of us
