We’re proud of the campaigns we ran to get good information out to voters, grateful to everyone who supported this work, and ready to do it again in November.
GrowSF reached every voter in SF with honest information about the June election. We got our message out on TV, social media, mail, and you sharing our guide.
Voters backed our endorsements and SF kept its commonsense majorities!

how do you know what political groups are trying to achieve, and how they're spending their money to do it? well, you don't. unless that group is @GrowSF.
this is how political organizations should operate 👏
We launched a new website with the details of every campaign we've run over the last six years. Every ad, every channel, every dollar.
Two reasons. First, transparency builds trust. We became the most trusted voter guide in the city by being honest with voters. This website holds our own spending to that same standard.
Second, we want you to have confidence that GrowSF is the best place to donate in San Francisco politics. Small budget, big reach across many channels. The majority of our budget goes to media buys, not overhead.
San Francisco didn't turn around overnight. It took years to build the common sense, pro-growth majority that's moving the city forward.
We didn't win every race. But we get better every election. And we're ready to do it again in November.

New data show fewer tents and occupied vehicles on SF streets as Mayor Lurie expands enforcement and outreach.
Sidewalks and streets are for public use, not for sleeping, and people should not have to navigate encampments or long-term vehicle storage.

It’s official: Prop D has failed!
San Franciscans don’t fall for misleading campaigns. Backers spent big on a tax that would drive jobs and revenue out of the city.
Voters saw through it and voted to keep businesses here and back SF’s recovery.

San Francisco is pro-housing.
Yesterday, San Franciscans overwhelmingly elected Stephen Sherrill, Alan Wong, and Scott Wiener, all strong supporters of building more homes.
The message from voters was clear: build housing, lower costs, and make room for more families in San Francisco.
Yesterday’s election showed that San Franciscans support the progress we are making and want us to continue the momentum. I know we still have work to do—and we are going to keep our foot on the accelerator to continue getting results for our residents.
Thank you to the voters for Passing Prop A to help make sure our city is prepared in the event of an emergency. And congratulations to Supervisors Stephen Sherrill, Alan Wong, and School Board President Phil Kim. I look forward to continuing working together to serve San Franciscans.
We are just getting started. Let’s go, San Francisco.
With the first set of results released, we are looking good on our priorities:
- Sherrill in District 2
- Wong in District 4
- Kim for School Board
- No on Prop D
Lots of ballots to count but we’re feeling good. Thank you voters!

Polls close at 8pm tonight. Make sure you vote!
Voting can be confusing, especially in local races. Check out the @GrowSF voter guide for recommendations. Even if you don't agree with every endorsement, we want to be the best resource for SF voters. https://t.co/GBakP945c4
“The board says Fryday stood out in interviews by focusing on California’s affordability gap, proposing cheaper access to higher education and expanding state service corps programs.”
"A vote for @alankennywong...is a vote to keep this neighborhood a place where Chinese American families, immigrant families, working families, and all the families who built the Sunset can continue to call it home." - @awong_SF

Mayor Lurie is doing a great job moving San Francisco forward, but he needs partners on the Board of Supervisors and Board of Education who are serious about results.
Join Mayor Lurie in supporting Stephen Sherrill, Alan Wong, Phil Kim, Yes on A, Yes on B, and No on D!
Only one congressional candidate said San Francisco needs more market-rate housing: Scott Wiener.
We agree. If we want lower rents and more affordable homeownership, we need to build more housing at every income level.
