Today's preliminary results report includes 15,299 vote-by-mail ballots counted since the last results report issued on Election Night.
The Department must still process and count approximately 128,300 ballots. This estimate includes approximately 122,000 vote-by-mail ballots and 6,300 provisional ballots cast at polling places and the City Hall Voting Center.
The estimated 122,000 vote-by-mail ballots to be counted includes approximately 11,000 vote-by-mail ballots the Department received from USPS on June 3 and June 4, which are postmarked on or before Election Day.
The Department will release the next preliminary results report on Friday, June 5, at 4pm.
UPDATE: The Department of Elections must still process and count approximately 122,400 ballots for the June 2, 2026, Consolidated Statewide Direct Primary Election.
This estimate includes:
-approximately 116,000 vote-by-mail ballots received on Election Day by mail, at drop boxes, and at polling places;
-6,400 provisional ballots cast at polling places and the City Hall Voting Center.

Department personnel will continue processing and counting ballots until 10pm today.
For the remainder of this week, ballot processing is tentatively scheduled to occur from 8am-6pm. No ballot processing will take place on Sunday, June 7.

The next preliminary results report will be issued at 4pm on Thursday, June 4.
Tonight, the Department will release four preliminary results reports:
1. At approximately 8:45pm, a report including vote totals from most of the vote-by-mail ballots received before Election Day.
2. At approximately 9:45pm, a report that adds votes cast at polling places to the vote-by-mail totals in the first report.
3. At approximately 10:45pm, a report that adds additional votes cast at polling places that were received after the second report was issued.
4. The fourth and last report of the evening will include all votes cast at all polling places. This report will be issued around midnight, after all precincts have reported.
