Looking for players & coaches in Weymouth/Dorset
If anybody knows of any please do send them my way, I think we're going to be starting with a men's team and then under 7's girls & boys, and then possibly a women's team if the interest is there. Thanks, Jack

I can’t stress enough the importance of this! If any manager or player can help out by getting involved, then please do get in touch.
Off-pitch stuff is all taken care of.
Watch any grassroots training session this week and follow the goalkeeper.
He joins the warm-up, gets pulled aside for ten minutes of shot stopping, then stands behind a goal watching everyone else for an hour. Clubs call that development. It’s attendance. 🧵
Being coached to coach it does.
The FA goalkeeping pathway already exists and is accessible. The clubs who use it and build actual session time around what a keeper needs, end up with keepers who feel part of the team. Those keepers don’t quit in March when the season gets hard.
Clubs that do this don’t scramble every September.
They already know who’s at risk, what they need, and what has to change.
So, what does YOUR club actually know about why players stay?
You don’t need a data science department. You need:
→ A 5-min exit chat when a player leaves
→ One question to parents at the start of the season: what do you actually want?
→ A monthly look at which age groups are shrinking.
That’s it.
