@Hertz Thanks, I don't see that doing much good at this point. I was laughed at by #hertz on the phone and denied resolution thru BBB. My bank's #fraud dept has already issued me the refund, you can speak with them going forward.

The other party's insurance carrier and my own have both been wonderful throughout the @hertz debacle. As the case is pending, I won't name them at this time, but they deserve to know what has transpired and will get appropriate kudos at the conclusion.

I'm frankly shocked that @hertz didn't call the cops to arrest me for being *legally* in possession of said rental car, as is their habit.

.@hertz decided to tell me this was going on at 4:30 PM central, after all adjusters were gone for the day, to tell me they intended to repo the car tout de suite.

.@hertz called me daily to inquire after my personal vehicle's status, but could not be bothered in said calls to tell me that the 2 insurance companies were volleying bills back and forth, and as such, my rental went up to 10 days unpaid.

.@hertz charged my card several different amounts over the course of days to try to get past my bank's fraud filters. They failed repeatedly. One BS charge finally went through. Thanks #hertz, that's all I needed. #Fraud

.@hertz knew I had been hit in an MVA less than 24 hrs prior & used said info 2 swindle me in2 xtra "insurance" 4 entire term of the rental when I asked for it to cover only the first 24 hours while I drove halfway across TX to get home. Can u say "fraud", #hertz? B/c my bank can
