@alexburghart This document specifically excludes recruiting on the basis of social economic background - presumably because it would be discriminatory. However, it does advocate asking applicants to anonymously give their background as defined ( arbitrarily) by the parental occupation at 14.
@juneslater17 The local school to my church arranges regular visits to find out about Christianity. Whole year groups come along one class at a time. The school and local area is 99% Asian with the largest proportion Muslim.
"Now, splendidly, everything had become clear. The enemy at last was plain in view, huge and hateful, all disguise cast off. It was the Modern Age in arms."
After this week I feel like Evelyn Waugh at the time of the Nazi-Soviet Pact in 1939. The politics of 'progress' has found its fulfilment in the union of two total malignancies: the campaigns to abort babies at full term and to kill old people before their time. Here is our enemy, all disguise cast off. 1/7
MPs voted in favour of passing the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill for E&W to the next stage of the Parliamentary process. We are still concerned that the Bill does not currently require a holistic assessment of unmet need See our response https://t.co/J1LRyCH9jU
@DrDollySud_PhD The response to your first question has some sense. How can you list all the multiple situations in which an ECG is necessary?
And the second question is also a bit strange - depends why you're doing the ECG and what abnormalities it shows. There's no "generally" about it.
@lennycornwall Obviously having tried for all working lives to support people not to kill themselves, we will be eagerto do fee paid work on tribunals which support suicide as part of our portfolio careers / retirement plans.
@wendyburn Sect 3 requires the hospital patient is going to to be written on the form when the drs complete it. Sect 2 doesn't.Takes so long for bed to be identified (days at times) - drs need to be able to complete form at
point of assessment and move on to their next piece of work.
@KellyQuilt Particularly important that women's psychiatric wards are allowed to remain safe spaces, given the number of patients who have endured sexual trauma.
