@TedBanker1@nathanmarzion Loved those teams. And I swear if we woulda just gotten past the Sonics, the Sixers, the Celtics in the years when we were just about there…I swear we woulda beat the Lakers.
A final toast to Giannis. And to Jrue, Kha$h, Bobby, Pat, Brook, and Coach Bud
But also our new Bucks-those from Miami along with Nate Ament and Brayden Burries
Raising a glass to Giannis and the team that gave us a title I thought I’d never see and a toast to the new sunshine!
@DanRShafer@journalsentinel What a brutal read. And I swear you could see the change away from what once looked like a super fun and confident team play culture. I was at that nba cup game against Indy with good seats and didn’t see any joy.
@TedBanker1@nathanmarzion Didn’t win a title soon after the Kareem trade but the 80’s and late 70’s were good fun.
If the Bucks are just competitive next season that’ll at least be an improvement over last season. This draft gives me hope.
@ByAndrewWagner@SparkyRadio Long time Bucks fan will say it’s an amazing era to be grateful for.
I remember the Bucks losing to Boston in ‘74. But am too young to remember beating the Bullets in 1970.
The 80’s were fun but-until Giannis -with exception to 2000/01 - we were mostly boring and irrelevant.
@BucksLead Really well said and spot on.
I know we weren’t going anywhere with him anymore but I’m bummed.
And, I can’t get excited about this trade. I guess it’s a “haul” and maybe they aren’t done but meaningful Bucks basketball feels a long way off still.
Sad day. I know we weren’t going anywhere with Giannis anymore but…
He made the Bucks exciting. And made the Bucks relevant for the first time in forever. And he brought a championship I thought I’d never see.
And I did see it. Went to game 3!
