@IanSlaterPhoto1@BurnsideWasTosh As an accountant, those figures made my arse pucker so violently the gusset of my boxer shorts wrapped around my lungs.
🤣
@JosephJBaldwin@CrayonMurders That gif’s the nearest either of them are getting to fresh air for the foreseeable.
I’m trying to work out just how awful being stuck in a cell with the Tate wallpapers and Russell Brand would be one’s psyche.
@001Dude_ Demolition Man is a great, fun, slice of 90’s action silliness.
Copland is good, and Stallone really showed he has more acting skill than many thought.
@AdamSalkie The word cheat is correctly attributed to City.
They undertook an orchestrated, deliberate and flagrant breach of the rules and did so for a decade.
Then when caught did everything within their power to obstruct and obfuscate the process.
Guilty as charged.
Blame your owners
@landgirlwlm I’m sure you’ve thought of this and it may have changed since I last dealt with this situation.
If you can order 2/3 copies of certificate when I last did this places wanted the original for certain things.
If you only have one it’s a pain as you’re awaiting the return.
@cityguru003 They’ve cheated every club.
Lost income for league position (£2m) per spot in the table.
Why are there so many mad Africans supporting city.
@Playbeyblades@DebRN1953@cmadsq State spending has been incredibly high, ignored by numerous governments (of both flavours) and borrowing to pay essentials rather than infrastructure is never good.
@Playbeyblades@DebRN1953@cmadsq I’m unaware of plans to bring power generation into public hands.
The network is still public, but generation is private.
There has been talk of government building more power stations so as to lessen reliance on outside of UK suppliers.
@Playbeyblades@DebRN1953@cmadsq I don’t expressing that a months work should provide enough to put a roof over your head, feed, clothe, pay your bills and have some leftover for social/saving is particularly revolutionary.
The cost of living is just awful at the moment.
@Playbeyblades@DebRN1953@cmadsq Water and energy are all still privately owned, several of the latter have been threatened with being brought back under public control as their effectively bankrupt and pouring sewage into rivers/sea etc.
@Playbeyblades@DebRN1953@cmadsq The only things I can think of coming back into public ownership are some of the rail services. Their franchises ended and the performance of the operators weren’t good enough.
State is poking its nose in more now because it was so hands off previously it’s lost any control
