Today, this incredibly strong and beautiful lady was honored by the @RamsNFL as being a fearless breast cancer survivor.
The @NFL#CrucialCatch is a meaningful initiative that saves lives.
Friendly reminder to get your age appropriate cancer screening.
I will be returning at the start of the new academic year full of gratitude and new perspective, and ready to finish my training. To everyone who has helped and supported me and my family over the last year, thank you. I am forever indebted to you all.
The past year of my life has been a whirlwind, and I want to share the story below to express my appreciation for the extraordinary support I have received from @UCLASurgeryRes . I am so thankful to be a resident in this program.
We are blessed and beyond thankful to report that her surgical pathology demonstrated a pathologic complete response, and she will finish treatment with radiation, and more HER2 and anti-estrogen therapy.
What a privilege it was growing up in Los Angeles as a die hard sports fan and being able to listen to Chick Hearn and Vin Scully on a near nightly basis.
Rest in paradise Vin; you were the best to ever do it.
My Grandfather, Paul Casella Jr., unexpectedly passed away on 2/15/22. He was not only the patriarch of our family, but a beloved Hollywood executive, small business owner, and philanthropist. Thank you @THR, for this piece.
Rest in paradise, "my boy."
Had the chance to see our season seats for the first time today @SoFiStadium. Without question, it is the nicest stadium I have ever seen. Can’t wait to enjoy this place for years to come. @RamsNFL
Today is the 1 year anniversary of my COVID-19 diagnosis. While the last year hasn’t been what many of us hoped for, we still have much to be thankful for. Taking some time today to reflect on the last year and what we have all experienced.
Stay safe and get vaccinated.
When I was diagnosed with #COVID at the very beginning of the pandemic, when we didn’t know much about this virus, @UCLASurgeryRes was incredible.
Co-residents, attendings, administrators, & program staff all found ways to support me. I am forever indebted to this group.
When putting together your rank list, one question to ask yourself, “would these people support me during a life crisis? Illness, death, divorce. Would they do whatever they can to help me?”
